Indiana Jones and the Brooklyn Bridge

When talking who’s a Beast and who can take serious damage, a couple names usually come up in conversation: Jack Bauer, Bruce Willis in Diehard, Toshiro Mifune in any Samurai film. But seriously none of these guys can say they kick more Nazi ass and take more punishment than Indiana Jones.

One of the most overlooked aspects of an Indiana Jones Film is that punch sound. When you hear that punch emanate from a Nazi’s face and Indy’s Fist, all you can do is smile with satisfaction and say, “Yup.” The sound engineers produced the punch sounds by piling old leather jackets and baseball mitts together and hitting it with giant swings from a baseball bat. How good is that?!!

Anyways, what better way to enjoy those punch sounds than to hear them echo off the Brooklyn Bridge on a perfect cool summer evening with the greatest view of the city as a backdrop.
