Soulwax take their turn at the Klaxons!

Tuesday, April 3rd, 2007

It’s about time Klaxons get remixed by Soulwax. The world’s greatest remixers have already taken a shot: Erol Alkan, Van She Tech, Digitalism. Although DFA still needs a go at it, which should be soon cus Jame Murphy just admitted he finally heard some Klaxons. I heard this remix a couple weeks ago at SXSW during one of Dave P’s sets. It blew my mind cus I thought nothing could top Van She Tech’s Gravity’s Rainbow. But not surprisingly the soulwax verison immediately got people on the dance floor jamming to the sick groove. The intro is filled with plenty of Optimo like poly-rhythms and once the synth lines hit you’ll be hook. Soulwax are on a roll with their remixes lately i.e. The Gossip and Robbie Williams. Can they keep it up?

The plan fuckin came together.
